A very good LP quality, great mastering and cut. The album itself is definitely a very dark one. Sure it will become a classic one in several years and inspire a lot of musicians all over the world. Choosing a favorite track was quite a task. mikhailbroyan

I first heard John Peel play XMAL back in '83 in the UK and I saw them live in Madrid in 1984, - have been a fan ever since. I never expected to have them on my BC ap, and so glad they're here. Hopefully the albums will appear here too - if the later record labels allow. zaclang

A magnificent album. My first record of 'the trees' was "Shaletown" which I bought as a maxi single back in the 80ties, one of my all time favorites. Their sound became calmer since then, but it. is still the unique musical style that distinguishes them. My favorite track is the book burners, it is because I like the melody and composition. For its lyrics, I like the opening track, for its lyrics which could apply to many places and the fate of the people living there. mike-rix
